The Santa Barbara Body Therapy Institute is a holistic center where vocational training, transformation and healing occur. We educate individuals in the art and science of bodywork and self-healing. Our methods are holistic, compassionate and practical to daily life. Our student body is inclusive to people of all race, gender and beliefs. Our graduates are successful professionals and empowered individuals serving their families, clients and communities. Many students commute from surrounding cities such as Ventura, Ojai, Lompoc, Santa Maria, and San Luis Obispo.
The Institute was founded in 1984 and ownership was transferred to Katie Mickey in January 1990. We are state approved by the California Bureau of Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education and the California Board of Registered Nurses.
Our office is open Monday through Friday, 10:00am - 6:00pm PST, and on weekends by appointment. We ask that you schedule an appointment before visiting so that we may better assist you.
